Doug is based in Boston and brings over 20+ years of experience to Beacon. He is an Investment Adviser Certified Compliance Professional® and is the author of chapters in The US Private Equity Fund Compliance Companion and The U.S Private Real Estate Fund Compliance Guide. Doug teaches Compliance in Financial Service Companies at Boston University School of Law. Before joining Beacon, Doug practiced law with the law firm of Goodwin Procter LLP in their Boston office from 1995 to 2008. Outside of compliance, he serves on the Newton Historical Commission and the board of directors of MassBike. Doug holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Brandeis University and a Juris Doctor degree from the Boston University School of Law. He is admitted to practice law in Massachusetts.
